Alumni Attend Receptions at Blue Pacific and Brauhaus Schmitz Restaurants
Earlier this year Devon Prep’s Alumni Association hosted two evening receptions for area alumni. The first was held at Blue Pacific Restaurant owned by Class of 1990 alumnus Andrew Hu and located in the King of Prussia Mall. Blue Pacific serves a wide variety of Asian cuisine. The second reception was held at Brauhaus Schmitz owned by Class of 1996 alumnus Doug Hager. Brauhus Schmitz, which is located on South Street in Philadelphia, is an authentic German Bierhall and restaurant.
Both receptions were well attended. Alumni had the opportunity to catch up with each other, page through old yearbooks, and enjoy delicious food and drink. Devon Prep Headmaster Fr. James Shea, Chaplain Fr. Rich Wyzykiewicz, Alumni Relations Director Matt Simon, and Alumni Association President Barry Mulhern also attended both events. Thanks to Andrew and Doug for working with the Alumni Association to make these two events possible.
